Extremely Rare Limited Edition of 250 dolls. This doll is #231 out of 250 as shown on the Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Created in 1995 for London's upscale Harvey Nichols Department Store. On the inside of the box: Barbie celebrates her 36th birthday in superb style by visiting London during London Fashion Week!

Barbie loves to wear the latest designs, so she'll be heading straight for the ultimate high fashion store--Harvey Nichols. Harvey Nichols stock so many top British designers that Barbie will be spoiled for choice when she's looking for that special birthday treat! She's a nineties girl and she knows that however she wants to feel - chic, casual, fun or glamorous - Harvey Nichols will have the clothes to suit her look.

Barbie and Harvey Nichols are fashion leaders, and the Harvey Nichols Barbie has been created as a tribute to them both. With a limited edition of only 250, the Harvey Nichols Barbie will surely be unsurpassed as a collectible treasure. Barbie has honey blond hair with bangs in a ponytail with a top knot.

She wears gold hoop earrings and has on a soft rose pink shantung silk jacket over a black dress. A chiffon stole with maribou feathers, black sunglasses, a black patent leather shopping bag and belt and black mules complete the outfit. Comes with a clear stand.

This doll is from my personal collection and has been stored in my smoke free home since the 90's. The box was never opened except to take out the COA for pictures. I did notice when taking pictures that the doll is a little wiggly in her box and is slightly tilted. The metal twist ties that are around the doll and attach to the insert back card in the box appear to have torn a line through the 2 tiny holes the ties were inserted through allowing the doll to sway. I tried to take a picture of this.

If you want more pictures of this please let me know. The box is in near mint condition.

The only flaw is a slight blemish on the back of the box above the word Barbie. Collection so I would like to have her go to a new home.
