Le Papillon Barbie by Bob Mackie, limited edition withoriginal Mattel Shipper

  

This is the Bob Mackie design "Le Papillion" Barbie from 1999. This doll was designed exclusively for FAO Schwarz.

This is from my late wife's large Barbie collection. This doll has never been removed from the box and box insert. My wife spent hours on her Barbie's to wrap them in clear cellophane. This way she could display them without the doll getting dusty. This is something Mattel should have done.

I will leave the removal of this wrap to the new owner. There is no harm to the doll or the box from this wrapping. The doll will come in its original Mattel Shipper. This doll was one of many that sat on shelving in our living room for everyone to see. Over the next many months I will be listing her Collection for someone else to enjoy.
